How much does it cost and Is the negotiated fee a one time fee, a monthly fee, or a yearly fee?

Generally the licensing fee is a one time fee which allows for free upgrades and the purchase of additional licenses should your system expand at a price point that is favorable to you. Large systems may want to lease annually - but this would be an exception. Our pricing structure is available here.
Is this actual software that is downloaded and installed on my end, or do we go through your company?

The software that you purchase is stand alone software. However you can try out our demonstration proxy easily without downloading any software. For the demonstration HTTP Proxy setting, contact us and we’ll send you the co-ordinates for the demonstration.
How do you set allowed web sites?

You can do two things currently:
- Enter in a list of sites in notepad, save the file onto the computer, and tell the filter to use that as your allowed web site list.
- Post the list of sites onto another web server and tell the filter to get the list of sites from that web server.
Option 2 is preferable if you are running the filter on the clients computer.
What is the purpose of the temporary override and can it be disabled?

The filter is very flexible. For some situations an override is needed. When the override is active, the administrator of the system is emailed with every website that you access. yes, it can be disabled.
What is the password?

When you first install the filter, the default password is:
- “password”
Once you log in, you can change the password to whatever you want
